Why Reddy2Help began
Reddy2Help works for underprivileged and marginalized communities, with a growing community of supporters helping children in Kathmandu and beyond get the education they deserve.
Reddy2Help exists to put opportunity within reach for underprivileged and marginalized communities in South and Southeast Asia — starting with education, because that’s where everything else begins.

We believe lasting change is built by the people who live it. Our model is simple and repeatable.
We partner with schools and community organizations that are already trusted on the ground, and let their priorities set the agenda.
Supplies, teacher support, facilities, scholarships — practical needs identified by the community, not by us from afar.
We report openly on where every contribution goes and what it changed, so supporters always see their impact.
Our flagship partnership is with the Asha Vidhyashram School in Kathmandu, Nepal, run by HOPE worldwide Nepal, where we support free education for children from marginalized communities.
As we grow, we aim to bring the same community-led model to more partners across South and Southeast Asia.
Alongside the school, we teach students to use the AI tools that are now free to anyone with a device. It is the cheapest lever we have found on a young person’s prospects.
Shawn Reddy founded Team Nebula, which builds AI systems for enterprises and government agencies. The work puts him in front of the same situation on repeat: a small team, a hard problem, and nothing like the budget the problem seems to demand. They close it anyway, with tools that cost nothing.
The same tools are available to a fifteen-year-old in Kathmandu. What stops her is not the price. She has never been told they exist, and nobody has shown her what to ask.
So we sit down and open the laptop. Students watch a real question get answered, then take the keyboard and change it. They leave knowing the tool’s name and knowing they are allowed to use it. When there are six seats in the room, who fills them is a decision rather than an accident: girls are the ones most likely to be pulled out of school early and told the technical path belongs to someone else.
